I dont know Hans, but i imagine he is somewhere between his rooftop terras looking at the birds of NY. Flying between the New York skyline and important things.
You probably got told from a young age. That following your dreams is for the few, not everyone can be Hans Zimmer. I hope this blog proves your mentors wrong.

To my eyes he doesnt really care about the people who pay for his inspiration. He tries to do justice to the gift that life sometimes can be.
Our modern medical system, has led to a situation where who pays does decide. If you combine this with a bad person teaching the others how to get paid. You get less Hans Zimmer’s
What i would advise is telling your ‘personal junk’ that he’s pissing on music. Repeat it, then smile and give them their daily carrot.
If it doesnt work repeat, go to the movies, etc.
For those wondering why i wasted my young years. I wanted to understand the ‘expat’ mindset. Of the in and out moral compasses who helped cause the desctruction of the Rwandan social fabric. They say the right things, have good people in their vicinty, but obviously are not good on a macro level.
I no longer care, as there is more in life. But the memory on off heuristic they employ to make sense to their vicinity and network is powerfull. Maybe existential fear for being caught by their prisoners. ?
